TheLegalNet™ was founded by Anne Smith with assistance from Chris Koressis, a Canadian business lawyer based in Toronto, Ontario. Having worked at three multinational companies (Royal Bank of Canada, CIBC and Geac Computer Corporation), Chris Koressis has practical experience on the legal and business risks, and the opportunities, vital to the success of any company. He also has an extensive network of clients and business contacts worldwide. Chris Koressis is one of only three lawyers on the Celebrity Speakers International Lecture Bureau (Edward Greenspan and F. Lee Bailey are the other two) and he is a writer on a variety of legal and business matters. Chris Koressis has been quoted in the Report on Business magazine of the Globe and Mail and in Lexpert. TheLegalNet™ was initially formed to enable the clients and contacts of Chris Koressis to meet each other and network in a casual setting.
